Congratulations! Even the Protolan logo made it there!

Supporting charities is something we are really passionate about here at Protolan, and something we’ve strived to do in many different ways since we set out as a business.

We are proud to have supported our former colleague, Paul Bardo, and his team of Red Hot Kili Trekkers.  This great bunch have recently successfully completed a trek to reach the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro.

On 14th February, 8 men and 2 women left Essex to head to Tanzania to take on the challenge of climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. A 10-day trip, and 8 gruelling days of trekking later they triumphantly reached the summit of the highest mountain in Africa.

Aside from the personal challenge they have raised money for four fantastic charities: The Teenage Cancer Trust, Alzheimer’s Society, MIND and the David Randall Foundation.

It is an amazing achievement and Protolan are proud to have supported the Red Hot Kili Trekkers in their remarkable quest.
