Business As Usual

It is Business as Usual for Protolan

Protolan is dedicated to continuing to deliver food manufacturing excellence, in a time where nothing is “normal”.

We have established new ways of working to ensure the health and safety of our team and that of our clients.  We remain committed to deliver our high-quality service to ensure our clients can access the support and assistance they need right now.

The core business functions at Protolan have not been affected by COVID-19.  Our business development, marketing, office management, IT and finance departments are all working effectively from home.

For us, it is business as usual and we remain fully dedicated to our current live projects and continue to support new projects opportunities.

We have been working with our clients and suppliers to encourage remote working methods. These methods have proved to be effective and our lines of communication are very much open.

Some of our clients have taken advantage of the specialist knowledge we hold.   We are supporting them to roll out technical standards and risk assessments to provide new working practices and mitigate the risk of spreading the virus.  We are also working with our clients to manage food hygiene and safety procedures within their business.

Looking Forward

When the pandemic ends, the food and drink industry will be looking at a changed world.  Food and Drink factories of the future will be influenced by the changes that have been made and the way we approach project delivery.  Protolan are keeping a long-term perspective, ensuring that we are looking forward and thinking positively about the learnings we have undertaken in the last few months.

We will emerge from this crisis a different mind-set, but perfectly positioned to continue to provide the knowledge, tools, and support to enable food and drink manufacturers achieve their goals.

Our (virtual) door is always open, so don’t hesitate to get in touch.
